An Apparatus for Removing Paint of Radioactive Contaminated Metal Surface and Recycling Organic Solvent

PURPOSE: A radioactive pollution metal surface painting removal and paint remover reproducer is provided to reduce amount of radioactive waste by removing polluted paint only. CONSTITUTION: A chemical processing part dips radioactive polluted metal in organic solvent. A physical processing part(20) physically comes off paint which is still left on the surface of radioactive polluted metal which is chemically processed. A waste organic liquid deposit tank(40) stores waste paint and waste organic solvent discharged from the chemical processing part and the physical processing part. A heater heats the waste organic solvent stored in the waste organic liquid deposit tank. A vacuum pump(62) is installed in the rear side of a paint exhaust pipe and maintains the inner side of the waste organic liquid deposit tank with a decompression state.
