PURPOSE: A frequency error correcting method of a terminal in a satellite communication system is provided to correct frequency error by measuring frequency deviation of a satellite through transception frequency of a data band. CONSTITUTION: A deviation calculating unit transmits data to a satellite through a first transmission frequency. The deviation calculating unit receives data relayed from the satellite(S10). The deviation calculating unit calculates estimated motion Doppler deviation(S20). The deviation calculating unit transmits data to the satellite through a deviation-compensated second transmission frequency. The deviation calculating unit receives data related from the satellite(S30). The deviation calculating unit calculates the motion Doppler deviation and the frequency deviation(S40). A terminal station performs frequency error compensation(S50).
