JOINT STRUCTURE OF A MODULAR BUILDING FOR EFFECTIVELY TREATING CONSTRUCTION ERRORS USING A CONNECTION PANEL AND A CONSTRUCTION METHOD THEREOF

PURPOSE: A joint structure of a modular building and a construction method thereof are provided to improve resistance to horizontal force by minimizing vertical displacement generated in the joint between unit modules.;CONSTITUTION: A joint structure(100) of a modular building comprises a core portion(110), connection panels(130), and unit modules(150). The core portion resists a horizontal load, such as horizontal force. The connection panels are coupled to the outer surface of the core portion and have truss members(131) connected to the core portion. The unit modules are installed to be separated from the core portion and are connected and welded to the connection panels to be connected to the core portion.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2013
