PURPOSE: A reinforcing bar arrangement structure of a hollow pier for reducing the quantity of materials and a construction method of a hollow pier using the same are provided to reduce the exhaust of carbon by reducing the quantity of materials of a hollow pier. CONSTITUTION: A reinforcing bar arrangement structure of a hollow pier for reducing the quantity of materials comprises outer main reinforcing bars(110a), inner main reinforcing bars(110b), an outer horizontal reinforcing bar(120a), and reinforcing horizontal bars(130). The inner main reinforcing bars are located between the outer main reinforcing bars. The outer horizontal reinforcing bar is arranged outside the outer main reinforcing bars and surrounds the outer main reinforcing bars. Each reinforcing horizontal bar connects two of the outer main reinforcing bars and one of the inner main reinforcing bars in a triangular shape.
