The present invention designed and fabricated a single-band wideband antenna that can be used in integrated circuits such as MMIC and LTCC. A new structure of the omni-directional wideband microstrip antenna is proposed. The antenna structure is a folded microstrip antenna using a dipole antenna structure and CPW feeding method is used. In this case, the stability of the antenna characteristics due to the finiteness of the ground plane of the single plate structure is affected. Therefore, in this study, the ground plane of the folded structure was extended to the outside of the microstrip loop antenna to increase the ground plane. The characteristics of the antenna were analyzed using the FDTD method.
