FIELD: medicine.;SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, in particular to determination of source of pain impulsation in case of reflex pain syndromes, conditioned by degenerative diseases of spine. Method lies in blockade of medial branches of spinal nerves, innervating zygapophyseal joints. Blockade is performed at the level of preliminarily detected zone of affection. Thermal imaging picture from posterior surface of buttocks, hips, shins and sole surface of feet is registered before single introduction of anesthetic. 20-30 minutes after blockade thermal imaging picture from said areas is re-registered and obtained result is compared with the initial one. If areas of reduced infrared radiation disappear or if absolute values of temperature in said areas grow by more than 1°C, it is stated that respective zygapophyseal joints are source of pain impulsation.;EFFECT: method makes it possible to reduce examination time, reduce radiation exposure and reduce incidence of diagnostic mistakes.;1 ex
