1. A method of processing waste, including:! (a) obtaining a first mixture of solid materials, microorganisms and liquid from wastewater, in which the microorganisms contain phosphorus and magnesium; ! (b) removing phosphorus and magnesium from the microorganisms and dissolving the removed phosphorus and magnesium in the liquid portion of the first mixture, the removal step comprising adding readily biodegradable carbon-containing compounds to the first mixture to form a treated mixture containing dissolved magnesium and phosphorus; ! (c) fermentation and enrichment of the treated mixture to form a liquid enriched in phosphorus and magnesium, which is separated from the rest of the mixture depleted in phosphorus and magnesium; ! (d) anaerobically treating the mixture depleted in phosphorus and magnesium to form a mixture enriched in ammonia and depleted in phosphorus and magnesium; ! (e) dehydrating the ammonia-rich mixture to form an ammonia-rich liquid; and! (f) mixing the ammonia-rich liquid with the phosphorus and magnesium-rich liquid to form struvite. ! 2. The method according to claim 1, in which stage (b) is carried out, keeping the treated mixture in an anaerobic reactor for a certain period of time. ! 3.
