A method for interventional navigation using 3D ultrasound imaging contrast enhancement (CEUS), comprising the steps of: , a reference 3D CEUS volume and tracking information for a desired portion of the anatomy, which undergoes interventional procedure with an instrument wherein the preparation is carried out during the period of the contrast enhancing agent administered to the desired portion of the anatomy; ! get images of tissue that are monitored in real time during the interventional procedure; ! forming at least one corresponding multiplanar reconstruction of ultrasound image with contrast enhancement (MPR CEUS), at least one of the resulting tissue image monitored in real time during the interventional procedure as a function of the reference 3D CEUS volume and tracking information, ; ! displaying at least one of the resulting tissue image tracked in real time, and the displayed image of the tissue, monitored in real time, includes at least the instrument image within a desired portion of the anatomy; and! displaying the at least one corresponding multiplanar reconstruction of ultrasound image with contrast enhancement (MPR CEUS), which corresponds to displayed image tissue tracked in real time, wherein the MPR CEUS image includes MPR image with contrast enhancement obtained from the reference 3D CEUS volume and it includes a target volume of interest, thereby providing a simultaneous display of the image information with contrast enhancement and infor
