FIELD: electricity.;SUBSTANCE: processor with an AND logical element is used; one continuously measures the electric installation magnetic field intensity within the 0 Hz - 10 kHz frequency band; in the processor the obtained magnetic field intensity are multiplied by the reduction coefficient a corresponding to a specific frequency within the 0 Hz - 10 kHz frequency band, the coefficient calculated according to the exponential distribution law and obtained through approximation by numerical methods of admissible limit values of magnetic field intensity depending on the frequency; the obtained product values are added with the addition results automatically compared with the maximum admissible limit level of magnetic field intensity by the reduced levels of AC higher harmonic components; in case of the said level exceeded the signal device is triggered that is automatically deactivated upon the magnetic field intensity dropping below the maximum admissible limit level.;EFFECT: continuous control of AC electric installations magnetic field intensity within the 0 Hz - 10 kHz frequency band, extension of the proposed device application field.;2 cl, 1 dwg
