FIELD: medicine.;SUBSTANCE: invention relates to field of medicine, namely to thoracic surgery and pulmonology, and can be applied in correcting extrapleural bone-muscular thoracoplasty in tuberculosis treatment. Essence of method lies in performing paravertebral access with dissection of rhomboid muscles at the place of attachment to vertebrae, subperiosteal resection of III, IV ribs from spine to middle axillary line, extrapleural pnemolysis from cupula to root of lung. Pleura above residual cavity is crimped by means of purse-string suture with pleuropneumopexy to posterior part of VI rib. Mobilisation of major and minor rhomboid muscles is performed. Muscular flaps of specified size are formed and moved through intercostals defect. Earlier formed extrapleural cavity is fully filled with muscular flaps, with fixation.;EFFECT: method makes it possible to minimise operation trauma, most fully fill in formed after pneumolysis extrapleural cavity, eliminate postoperative cosmetic defect of chest, which is quite important in patients of child's and young age, as well as in women.;1 ex
