1. A method for detecting the penetration of a short-wave radio signal into a power line data transmission system, comprising the steps of:! determine the level of the common mode signal at the frequency of the data transmission system over the power line for a period of time when there is no data transmission in the data transmission system over the power line at the indicated frequency; and! penetration is detected if the common-mode signal exceeds a predetermined threshold value. ! 2. The method according to claim 1, additionally containing stages in which:! determine the corresponding level of common-mode signals at the corresponding different frequencies during the specified period of time at time intervals when there is no data transmission in the data transmission system over the power line at the indicated corresponding frequencies; ! comparing the respective levels with the corresponding threshold values; and! detect penetration if at least one of the corresponding levels exceeds the corresponding threshold value. ! 3. The method according to claim 1 or 2, additionally containing a stage in which:! perform during the transmission of data transmission signals over the power line notch frequency at which penetration is detected. ! 4. The method according to claim 1 or 2, further comprising stages in which:! detect background noise; and! perform during the transmission of data transmission signals over the power line a frequency notch at which the common-mode signal exceeds the background noise by a predetermined value. ! 5.
