FORECASTING METHOD OF COMPLICATIONS IN PATIENTS HOSPITAL PNEUMONIA

FIELD: medicine.;SUBSTANCE: invention describes a method for prediction of the complicated clinical course in the patients with community-acquired pneumonia involving measuring blood serum procalcitonin (PCT, ng/ml), tumour necrosis factor-α (TNF-α pg/ml), deriving total score according to the CURB-65 scale and solving a discriminant equation: D=+13.258*PCT+2.824*TNF-α+2.225*point of the CURB-65 scale, and if the D value is more than 46.10, developing complications in the patients with community-acquired pneumonia is predicted.;EFFECT: invention provides higher effectiveness of prediction in the patients with community-acquired pneumonia by the integral assessment of the biochemical inflammation markers and the CURB-65 scale points.;2 ex
