FIELD: power industry.;SUBSTANCE: honeycomb carrier with hexagonal cells, which is made from cordierite ceramic material, intended for being used as exit gas cleaning catalyst carrier and including many hexagonal cells enveloped with walls of cells, which are located so that they form hexagonal cellular structure, and cylindrical outer layer covering external peripheral side walls of hexagonal cells. Honeycomb carrier with hexagonal cells has geometric surface area (GSA) of 3.5 mm²/mm³ or more and has pores with average pore diameter of 3.5 mcm or more. It also consists of cells located with density of 1000 cells/sq. inch or less.
