Method of producing tincal containing 45-62% of B2O3 with maximum moisture content of 0.60%, particle size of 250 mcm and bulk density of 0.15-0.3 g/cm3, and chemical formula Na2B4O7·(1-5)H2O, comprises the following stages: calcination of coarse tincal ore in rotary furnace with scrapers for thermal treatment, fine grinding of calcined tincal with help of autogenic grinding in rotary furnace, pneumatic separation by hot air required in calcination for clay separation. High-density compacted calcined tincal is produced at second stage by compacting low-density calcined fine tincal.;EFFECT: new compacted, calcined tincal with particle size of 6 mm, bulk density of 0,75-1,0 g/cm3 and chemical properties of fine calcined tincal.;21 cl, 2 dwg, 1 tbl
