FIELD: medicine.;SUBSTANCE: invention relates to surgery and may be applied for laparoscopic appendectomy. Trocars are inserted paraumbilically, in right and left iliac regions. The apparatus LigaSure Atlas is arranged in the left iliac region in parallel to an axis of a vermiform appendage and delivered through the 10-mm trocar. Branches are applied on a mesentery of vermiform appendix that is followed by sealing and cutting across. Then the branches are applied on a base of vermiform appendix; it is sealed and cut across that is followed by aseptic removal through the trocar introduced in the left iliac region.;EFFECT: technique provides reducing a risk of wound infection, decreasing a number of potential sources of purulent complications.;2 ex, 1 dwg
