FIELD: medicine.;SUBSTANCE: in patients with earlier detected excess of upper norm limit of level of daily conjugated metanephrine and/or conjugated normetanephrine excretion level of daily excretion of conjugated metanephrine and/or conjugated normetanephrine is determined in sample of collected urine at the background of clonidine intake. Sample is positive if the level of daily excretion of conjugated normetanephrine and/or conjugated metanephrine in sample of collected urine is higher than upper norm limit. Claimed method of diagnosis verification possesses high sensitivity and specificity.;EFFECT: method application makes it possible to avoid carrying out unjustified surgery in patients with essential arterial hypertension and hormonally non-active formation of adrenal gland.
