FIELD: construction.;SUBSTANCE: device to extend threads of long-welded rails during relaxation of temperature stresses and giving them length corresponding to the size at optimal temperature is equipped with sensors to detect a force of raising threads joined with a crane lifting mechanism. Rail grips are placed on a carriage movable in the horizontal plane, and are additionally equipped with support rollers with interaction with a foot of thread rail during their lift. The carriage is installed on a frame hingedly fixed at the end of a rail-laying crane platform and is attached to a cross beam of the crane lifting mechanism on suspensions.;EFFECT: increased efficiency of a device.;3 dwg
