FIELD: agriculture.;SUBSTANCE: method includes determination of the mass of the tree limb and the mass of sampling, determination of leaf area of sample surface, by which the leaf-area duration of the limb of the tree is determined. The leaf-area duration of the sample is determined as a sum of squares of scanned surfaces of individual leaves of the sample with a surface area of each leaf of the sample is determined by the ratio of black and white pixels of scanned leaves.;EFFECT: method provides improvement the accuracy of determining the leaf-area duration of the limb of the tree.;2 dwg
