The link has hollow shells (1, 2) formed by electroforming of precious metal or precious metal alloy. Cylindrical connecting tubes (3, 4, 6) traverse interior of the shells from one of directly opposed side walls of each shell till the other side wall of the shell. The connecting tubes support, surround, and guide connection and hinge pins (5) of the link. Each tube is positioned within the corresponding shell through a guiding hole that traverses one of the side walls of the shell. The pins are fixed through passage holes of the tubes by gluing, welding or riveting or by interference fit.
