The hand (2) has a support (3) whose length is larger than its width, where the hand is made of partially amorphous material containing precious metal element or completely amorphous material. An orifice (4) is formed at the proximity of an end (32) of the support, where the end serves as an unbalancing mass. The orifice allows ejection of the hand along an axis so as to permit the hand to be pivotably mounted around the axis for indicating information regarding hour, minute or second, on a dial of a timepiece (1). An independent claim is also included for a method for fabricating a hand.
