The deflection device has several juxtaposed deflection rollers (8) that are provided for guiding a conveyor belt (1). The deflection rollers are mounted in respective carrier rollers (3) and are distributed along a bending edge (5) of the conveyor belt. The carrier rollers are detachably inserted in a carrier portion (4) such that replacement of the carrier rollers is possible.
