The guide vane arrangement positioned between the stationary walls (4,5) of the flow path of the compressor has guide vanes (7) formed like a leaf spring, such that the transient phases of operation due to thermal influences are compensated by changes in distance between the stationary surfaces by elastic deformation of the guide vanes. The tip of the guide vane is aligned tangentially about the ring profile of the adjacent wall.
