The concentrator has a plane mirror whose curved profile reflects incident light rays radially towards an optical axis, with or without concentration effect. A cylindro-parabolic mirror is situated in a half-space same as that of the plane mirror, and is defined by an optical plane. The cylindro-parabolic mirror has a curved profile that reflects the rays obtained from the plane mirror by progressively concentrating the rays towards a focal point, situated on the optical axis, downstream from the concentrator.
