The container (11) has a collecting part (17), and a removable cover (15) connected with the part for closing the part. Connection openings (21, 25) are connected with respective suction hoses (23, 27) of a wet and/or dry vacuum cleaner (13). A draining opening (33) drains sucked fluid from the container, and an electrical submerged pump (31) is arranged in an inner side of the container and attached to the cover. The pump conveys the sucked fluid from the container to the draining opening, where one of the connection openings is formed at a small distance to an upper edge of the part. An independent claim is also included for a wet and/or dry vacuum cleaner system comprising a wet and/or dry vacuum cleaner and a preseparation container.
