There are not many suitable basins for storage power plants or they have to be built at high cost and destroy nature. This storage power plant with cave water in combination with wind power for the generation of demand-dependent electrical energy should have inexpensive and environmentally friendly intermediate energy storage and sporadically generated "alternative energies" primarily store and secondarily pass on in constant orders of magnitude. The basins of this storage power plant are primarily arranged in underground caves as well as cirques, lakes or the like. In drawing 1, both basins of the pumped storage power plant are arranged in underground caves. In the drawing 2 the upper basin is a cirque or something similar. In drawing 3, the upper basin is a lake, pond or the like. With the energy that is not required, preferably from wind turbines (1), the water is conveyed by means of pumps (6) through a line (7) from the lower basin (4) to the upper basin (8). When electrical energy is required, the water is drained from the upper basin (8) into the lower basin (4) through a downpipe (10) and drives the turbine (9), which transfers the mechanical energy it has gained to a generator (5). This converts the drive power into electrical power and feeds this gained energy (11) into the power grid (12). Furthermore, the intermediate energy stores should be switched on at short notice to cover a requirement that is required quickly. Thermal energy of the underground caves can be converted into electrical energy e.g. B. can be used by a Sterling motor or the like to drive the pumps. This storage power plant with cave water in combination with wind power for the generation of demand-dependent electrical energy is suitable due to its use of renewable energy and environmentally friendly construction for the expansion of renewable energies in the world.
