The electronic storage medium e.g. a universal serial bus stick comprises a surface (A) made of elastic material and provided with an opening (C), which delimits a part in the total surface, so that a partial surface (B) develops, and a U-shaped or V-shaped running wire or a small plate, whose free ends in the wire or an edge in the small plate is fastened to a flat section of the storage medium, so that a carrier material (D) is clamped between the wire or the small plate and the flat section of the storage medium. The partial surface opens itself based on the elasticity of the materials. The electronic storage medium e.g. a universal serial bus stick comprises a surface (A) made of elastic material and provided with an opening (C), which delimits a part in the total surface, so that a partial surface (B) develops, and a U-shaped or V-shaped running wire or a small plate, whose free ends in the wire or an edge in the small plate is fastened to a flat section of the storage medium, so that a carrier material (D) is clamped between the wire or the small plate and the flat section of the storage medium. The partial surface opens itself based on the elasticity of the materials during pushed-in and/or pushed-out, so that the carrier material is clamped between the total surface and the partial surface. The opening is formed by a slit or a notch. The surfaces or partial surfaces have a structured surface during clamping the carrier material, and are formed by the inner side of the partial surface or the wires or plates. The structured surface is formed from roughnesses, corrugations, pointed and/or line-shaped elevations and/or introduced depressions, consists of crinkled partial surfaces, wave-like wire shanks in the wire or its wave-like form in the plate, and disposes via adhesive properties. The partial surface pushed in or pushed out from the total surface is reduced against the total surface for obtaining the clamping effect. The reduced partial surface runs parallel to a plane of the total surface. The degree of reduction of the partial surface against the total surface is equal or smaller than the height of the total surface for thin carrier materials, and is larger than the height of the total surface for thick carrier materials. The elevations of the structured surface of the reduced partial surface protrude into the opening in the total surface developed by the reduction of the partial surface. An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for a method for producing an electronic storage medium e.g. a universal serial bus stick.
