The method involves arranging the particles (16) in a liquid (14) and pressurizing the liquid with sound waves. The frequency of the sound waves is selected such that the capillary waves (20) are formed on the surface of the liquid by the irradiated sound waves. The capillary waves are formed such that the drops are released together with a portion of the particle of the liquid surface, particularly of wave crests of the capillary waves.
