The fitting has an insert including two semicircular disks (5) with an entire thickness not larger than a thickness of a door element (1). An open slot (3) runs out from a front side (2) of the door element and passes over into a hole (4) at an end opposite to the front side. Each disk comprises a plate-like diaphragm (7) formed at a side plane of one of the disks. The diaphragm is aligned parallel to a door plane and rests against the door plane. A suspension bolt (6) is provided with hook-shaped engaging elements (13) for engagement into the insert at an end connected with the insert.
