The system (1) has two illumination devices (2, 3), which are formed to illuminate an inner space of a vehicle and to transfer a set of display functions as a function of multiple signals. One of the illumination devices is arranged at a dashboard (7), where the other illumination device is arranged at a door inside (9) of the vehicle. The illumination devices are matched and/or mutually complemented with each other based on the signals to transfer the display functions. A control unit actuates the illumination devices with respect to the signals.
