The support has a support part (4) whose upper end is connected with an inner end of a joist (3). A connection unit is arranged at the support part for holding the support at a gabion. An angular shaped bearing element is arranged at a wire mesh (1) of the gabion, and a receiver is provided with the connection unit and a hook, which are hung into a wire of the gabion. Distance from an upper edge of the joist to an upper end of the connection unit is 5 cm. A lower support is arranged at the support part of a system at the gabion, where total width of the gabion is 15 cm. An independent claim is also included for a method for fixing a gabion-bracket scaffold.
