The plate lifter has a mobile base (1), two oppositely arranged telescopic guides (4a,4b) and a plate support that is connected with the inner tubes (11a,11b) of the telescopic guides in a form-fit manner. The base is executed for storing tools and bolts and is provided with four lockable steering rollers. The base is used for transporting the building boards.
