The method involves connecting a brake disk head with a friction ring (10) in a form-fit manner, where the brake disk head is made of metal plate. The friction ring is made of cast iron. A form-fit contour (26) is inserted in an outer surface of the brake disk head and an inner surface of the friction ring. The form-fit contour of the friction ring is generated by a separating process.
