The power plant has rotor blade pairs including a rotor blade (2) turned toward upper free ends of a rotor (1) and another rotor blade (3) turned toward lower axial ends of the rotor. Ends of the former blade and the latter blade are respectively turned away from a pivotal axis (4) and rotatably connected with a rotor axis (6) by two rotational axes (5, 7), where one of the rotational axes runs vertical to the rotor axis in an axial plane. An adjustment device changes positions of the rotational axes along axial direction such that angular apertures of the blade pairs are variably adjustable.
