The electromotor has a rotor rotatably supported around a rotor axis, and a stator (12) arranged in a housing portion (1), where the stator is connected with the housing portion in a force-fit manner. A fan shroud (2) is lockably connected with the housing portion, and includes a radially inward projecting cam provided with a lead-in chamfer. A guide is provided for the cam and actively limited in circumferential direction. A motor housing includes a radially outward projecting cam provided with a leading-in chamfer at which the cam of the fan shroud is pushed in axial direction. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing an electromotor.
