The method involves providing a joining aid (9) in a joint of the components (1,2). The joining aid and component (1) are bonded. The components are joined to each other by an adhesive layer formed in mating surface of the component (2). The joining aid is firmly bonded to the component (2) by melting the joining aid by an electrical heating to weld the components at the mating face.
