The housing (1) has two housing halves (5, 6) enclosing a cavity, where the housing halves include openings (10, 12, 14) for receiving components. The housing halves are interconnected by an attaching clip (21), where one of the housing halves is made from an inorganic material having a curable mass of ultra high-strength heat treatable concrete. The ultra high-strength concrete has a compressive strength in a range from 150 mega pascals (MPa) to 300 MPa. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing the housing.
