The bearing (1) has a slip washer (9) arranged between a cap (3) and a guide ring (5) about a central axis (7) of the bearing. The ring forms an axial and radial abutment (15) for a helical spring (17). The guide ring is formed from a spring seat (13) and a friction element (11) as a single-piece component. The spring seat is made of a material comprising higher elastic modulus than material of the friction element. The spring seat and the friction element are inseparably connected with each another. The friction element forms a contact seal with the cap. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a guide ring of a strut slide bearing.
