The method involves determining position of an optimal operating point and to-be-evaluated scatter band and/or fluctuation range of a process response as a process result for considered drawn part characteristics of a drawn part region. A process capability index value for a deep-drawing process and/or the drawn part characteristics considered in an actual process window is determined. The process window is constricted and/or shifted to an allowed process window region, and is controlled and estimated by a starting series process.
