The method involves rotating a tool around a longitudinal axis for producing holes in a work-piece made from composite material having two layers, where the layers are made of fiber-reinforced plastic and metal i.e. aluminum, respectively. The longitudinal axis is eccentrically moved with respect to a middle axis of the holes, where distance between the longitudinal axis and the middle axis of the holes is calculated as eccentricity that is changed based on comparison between reference diameter and actual diameter of the holes.
