The system has a fuel injector (1) for injecting fuel into a combustion chamber of a combustion engine, and a high pressure memory spacer (2) for supplying the fuel to the injector under high pressure. The injector is connected over a return line (3) to a fuel tank (4) for returning a redirection amount of the fuel. The return line is indirectly connected to the fuel tank over another high pressure memory spacer (5), where pressure in the latter memory spacer is lesser than that in the former memory spacer and difference in the pressure produces reduction of switching forces in the injector.
