The device (10) has a circuitry carrier (22) made of ceramic material and provided with electrical or electronic components (26). A wiring carrier (12) is provided at a lower surface of the circuitry carrier. A heat sink is provided at an upper surface (20) of the circuitry carrier. Total height of the device corresponds to height of a frame (32). A mold mass is encapsulated together with thickness of the wiring carrier, which is designed as a flexible film (16) and a circuit board (14). The wiring carrier comprises a lead frame, and is firmly glued with the circuitry carrier.
