The device has an inner ring (27) of a radial bearing (17) for receiving a journal of a cylinder which is arranged directly over a bearing unit (19) in an outer ring (23) enabling a radial movement of the journal. The outer ring is mounted directly or indirectly in an opening of side frames (02,12). The radial bearing is arranged in a region of the outer ring, viewed in the axial direction. The bearing unit enables radial movement of the cylinder.
