The system has multiple rectangular laths (2) filled in a space formed between a resolution cover of a furniture leaf and a door panel of a water-bearing household appliance. The laths are provided on a front side of the household appliance. A clamping device (10) clamps the laths to provide a unitary alignment of surfaces (4) of the laths. Printing ink (11) is applied between the laths. A printing device (7) i.e. screen printer, forms designs on the surface by performing lacquer finish operations. An independent claim is also included for a method for facilitating surface coating on a front side of a household appliance.
