The device comprises a discharge taper tap (5), which is inserted into an outlet valve at the lower side of an aircraft, particularly of an aircraft wing, and a connection portion (1) carrying the discharge taper tap. A tube or pipe is provided, which is attached to the connection portion. A collection container is provided for collection of the liquid draining off through the tube or pipe. A disruptive element is provided for temporary fixing of the connection portion to the aircraft lower side. An independent claim is also included for a method for removing condensed water from the fuel tank of a commercial aircraft.
