The electric machine (1) has a motor carrier (2) which includes a fan (15) at the front side, and an electronic housing (9) subsequent to the motor carrier, in which electronic components are arranged. The front wall (3) of the motor carrier comprises an axial opening (14) with respect to fan, such that the airflow (11) emerged from motor carrier is turned back by the fan toward the electronic housing.
