The bridge (11) has a conductor path (18) that comprises a set of conductor sections (18a, 18b). A heating device is assigned to the path. The path and the heating device are galvanically separated from each other. A body comprising a fusible material is arranged in a region of the path for influencing properties of the path. The heating device warms the body such that melting and change of state of the body is effected. The heating device is provided with heating conductors, and the body serves as a metal ball (24). An independent claim is also included for a component with a signal circuit.
