The system has a base foil layer connected with a frame-shaped reinforcement (2). The layer comprises a perforation (3) along the reinforcement. The reinforcement comprises a release paper or a release film. The reinforcement is glued on the layer by an adhesive. The perforation is divided into an inner section (1b) and an outer section (1a), where the reinforcement is glued on the outer section. The layer comprises a heat seal film or a heat seal layer. The layer is made of a film composite e.g. polyethylene terephthalate (PET)-aluminum-polyethylene (PE) composite or PET-PE composite. An independent claim is also included for a method for closing a vessel and/or an object.
