The structure (1) has a set of tunnel longitudinal supports (2) that runs in a longitudinal direction. A transmission hump (3) is arranged in between the supports. The hump comprises a closed hollow profile in cross-section. The hump is connected with the supports from an underside of a motor vehicle in a region between the supports. A set of flanges (4) run in a plane of the bottom support structure and in a longitudinal direction of the hump. The hump is connected with the supports by the flanges.
