The system has reducing agent pump (1) that is used to convey the reducing agent stored in reducing agent tank. A nozzle (3) is connected to pressure side of reducing agent pump through spacer (2) for injecting the reducing agent into effluent stream of combustion engine. An electrical heating element (4) is arranged between reducing agent pump and nozzle for vaporizing the reducing agent. An independent claim is included for method for controlling injection of reducing agent into effluent stream of combustion engine.
