The electric motor (01) comprises a stator (04), where a rotor (06) is rotatable opposite the stator. The rotor is provided for driving of an impeller of an electric bicycle. The stator and the rotor enclose an engine compartment (09), which is sealed by a rotary seal (16). The seal is formed in an operating state of the electric motor in a contactless manner.
